Crackington haven, Cornwall, UK

I had identified this location the previous day and thought that the foreground slate would make a great lead in to a photograph. I arrived just as the sun was setting, following a downpour, and the afterglow reflecting in the slate was incredible. In this particular image I used a polariser to slow the shutter speed and a ND filter to balance the marked contrast between dark foreground and the sky.
