Paquis lighthouse, Lake Geneva

This image was taken during a trip to Geneva in July 2007. The conditions were terrible for most of the trip, with rain almost constant. The photograph was taken in between showers, and was followed by a thunderstorm. I like the foreboding sky as a backdrop to the lighthouse, which is a great main subject for the image. I have used a diagonal view of the pier and rocks to lead the eye to the lightouse, and on to the sky.
