My intention was to try to emphasise the motion of the underground trains whilst conveying this in an unusual and strong compositional way. The camera was tripod mounted and 2 separate images taken with trains arriving on either side of the camera at different timepoints. Both images were then merged in photoshop CS, converted to monochrome, and the trains then recoloured for effect.
